Seljalandsfoss is one of the must-see waterfalls of Iceland. It plunges 40 metres over the mountainside of West Eyjafjoll and into a deep pool. If you look closely, you'll notice the footpath that can be taken behind the waterfall. This yields some great photographic opportunities - as well as a chance to give your camera a light shower!
Seljalandsfoss is best visited late in the day, when the setting sun bathes the cliffs in a warm light. The bridal veil effect was achieved by taking a half-second exposure.
